The Story of IM8
IM8’s journey began with Straumann Implant Vietnam (SIV) and has grown alongside more than 15 years of Straumann Group’s presence in Vietnam. As the exclusive distributor of Straumann Group’s implant solutions, IM8 has played an important role in bringing Swiss-quality standards and other world-class brands closer to the Vietnamese dental community, while connecting local clinicians with advanced treatment practices from around the world.

Establishment of SIV Trading Co., Ltd.
With its headquarters in Ho Chi Minh City, the country’s economic hub, SIV quickly became a trusted supplier for hospitals and dental clinics across Southern Vietnam.
03/2020
Establishment of the Da Nang Office
The Da Nang office was established as a strategic link between the North and the South, enabling IM8 to expand its operational network and progressively extend its services, products, and training programmes across Vietnam.
03/2024
Officially renamed IM8 Trading Co., Ltd.
The event marked a new milestone in IM8’s development journey. Guided by its six core values—Excellence, Expertise, Progressiveness, Efficiency, Sustainability, and Connection—IM8 continues to strengthen its role and position within the Vietnamese dental community.

Launch of the Sirios X3
During the SYD–SOS 2026 Conference, the next-generation intraoral scanner Sirios X3 was officially introduced to the Vietnamese market, capturing the attention of numerous dental professionals attending the event.
