Straumann® Zygomatic System
The Straumann® Zygomatic Implant System provides an immediate, graftless fixed solution for edentulous patients and patients with terminal dentition. Designed to support immediate loading protocols, the system features two implant designs—ZAGA™ Flat and ZAGA™ Round—to accommodate different anatomical situations and levels of bone deficiency. The implants are engineered to maximize zygomatic anchorage, support osseointegration, and respect both hard and soft tissue structures. A straightforward prosthetic concept based on a single implant connection simplifies restorative workflows and ensures compatibility with Straumann® Full-Arch Solutions. The system also integrates with coDiagnostiX® digital planning software, enabling precise treatment planning for complex full-arch rehabilitation cases.

Straumann® Roxolid®
Straumann® Roxolid® is a high-performance implant material specifically developed by Straumann, combining 85% titanium and 15% zirconium to deliver exceptional mechanical strength and excellent osseointegration capabilities. The unique alloy enables the use of reduced-diameter and extra-short implants, providing more treatment options for patients with narrow spaces or limited bone availability. Compared with conventional titanium, Roxolid® offers higher tensile and fatigue strength, supporting minimally invasive treatment concepts while helping to reduce the need for bone augmentation procedures. Its enhanced mechanical properties allow clinicians to address more challenging clinical situations with confidence. Backed by extensive scientific evidence and long-term clinical data, Roxolid® has demonstrated reliable performance, including validated 10-year clinical outcomes and high implant survival rates.

Straumann® SLActive®
Straumann® SLActive® is an advanced hydrophilic implant surface technology designed to accelerate osseointegration and enhance clinical predictability. Backed by more than 15 years of clinical evidence, SLActive® reduces initial healing time to just 3–4 weeks and supports highly predictable immediate loading protocols, with a reported 10-year implant survival rate of 98.2%. The surface features unique nanostructures that increase the available surface area by more than 50%, promoting fibrin network formation and bone cell mineralisation during the early healing phase. Beyond hydrophilicity, these nanostructures contribute to faster biological integration and improved healing outcomes. Clinical studies have also demonstrated excellent performance in compromised patients, including smokers, diabetic individuals, and patients who have undergone head and neck radiotherapy.

A thread-free cervical portion is designed for soft tissue contact, while the NeoPoros® surface supports osseointegration. When adequate primary stability is achieved, Zygoma GM™ can be used in immediate loading protocols for fixed full-arch rehabilitation.

Neodent® Acqua
ACQUA is Neodent’s hydrophilic implant surface technology, developed to enhance the early biological interaction between implants and surrounding tissues. Through a physicochemical activation process, the titanium oxide layer changes from a negatively charged to a positively charged surface, attracting ions from blood and improving wettability. This hydrophilic characteristic is designed to optimise implant surface activity, support successful osseointegration and increase bone-to-implant contact during healing. Preclinical studies have demonstrated enhanced bone contact and favourable bone regeneration around grafted areas when compared with conventional hydrophobic surfaces. ACQUA is particularly recommended for Type III and IV bone, immediate implant placement after tooth extraction and grafted sites, providing greater confidence and predictability in challenging clinical situations.
