The lecture will review scientific evidence regarding implant complications and discuss evidence-based occlusal approaches aimed at minimising prosthetic complications in implant treatment.

Participants will gain valuable insights into:

  • Physiological differences when implants are introduced into the stomatognathic system

  • Clear occlusal guidelines to minimise implant prosthetic complications

This topic addresses one of the key foundational factors influencing the long-term success and stability of implant restorations.

Afternoon session: Mastering implant esthetics in modern dentistry

In the afternoon session, Dr. Hamilton will continue with the lecture:

“Mastering Implant Esthetics: Guidelines for Esthetic Diagnosis and Treatment Planning”

The lecture will focus on esthetic principles in implant dentistry, including esthetic risk assessment, patient classification, and treatment planning for single and multiple missing teeth in the esthetic zone.

Key learning objectives include:

  • Comprehensive esthetic analysis before treatment

  • Identification of critical esthetic parameters

  • Recognition of advanced and complex treatment cases

  • Determining optimal three-dimensional implant positioning for esthetic and functional outcomes

The session promises valuable clinical insights to help clinicians improve predictability and optimise esthetic implant outcomes.
